Should i keep square number plate fitted and cut circular holes where old plate was to aid air flow?

square.jpg

Bil is done to aid flow of cool air to the I/C which is his most important atribute on the car, ie getting it to go fast.
Perfomance over looks.

If thats what you want then go for it, personally I want both looks and performance, but i wouldn't do that.

You could fit a smaller number plate, and then trim the section below the number plate. also remove the lower bar.

lol - pants eh? [B)]

:cartman:

depends if you have a large FMIC you want air to get to.

............and the other means would be what?

built to go fast not to look "nice", which is personal taste after all ;)

I quite like the way bills car looks with it. Plus ive got a 16row oil cooler going behind theyre aswell, maybe i should just smooth old recess off.

well theres alot of negative replys but no constructive ones, instead of smoothing stuff etc why not take the origional smic duct and put the oil cooler there, or do something similar underside of your front bumper take a tap off etc

Cheers, i was originally goina do that, but i was told bad idea for stones etc, plus if im being honest, front bumper has seen better days due to car been so low on 16's before, so id be buying another one wen car gets painted this winter.

Ok so lets just not cut holes in bumper, what do foke think of offset plate?

offset plates dont bother me. usually i dont see the point if there is clearly space to put it in the normal place, but if that isn't possible, then fair enough!

Think if I ever had an offset plate, i'd have one on opposite side too in mirror writing (i like the car to look symetrical :D)

Well guys am doing it, if it looks shite ill just put a plate over it. Goina remove lower bar aswell. Pic's up in an hour or so
