Show me your 18" alloys request

Hi all, I'm currently looking for ideas on alloys to replace the stock 16" on my SE. It's Monsoon Grey and been eyeing up some replicas from CMWheels.

Anyone care to share their after market alloys on the MK3? Not sure whether to go for black or the polished look.

The alloys are from an FR model, but they didn't come with the car. Mine came with 16" also - they're in the shed with the winter tyres on. Tints were about £50 for the kit - self-fitted.

Yeah mine are on stock spring for an FR 184 TDI, that side pic doesn’t do it justice tbf. I got them from a guy called Joe on eBay. He was brilliant

Cheers! Will send him a message to see if they can fit different tyres. I find that most places that do alloys + tyre deals just use the cheapest tyres they can get.

CMWheels is around an hour away and can always use BlackCircles to find a garage that will fit the tyres I want.

Also, what's the For sale section criteria you need to meet? I was going to post a Wanted thread to see if anyone on here had a set but don't meet the requirements apparently.

I bought mine for about £450 from eBay. In perfect condition and had a set of Bridgestone Potenzas on. Check Gumtree too for deals.
I set up a search alert on eBay and used Shiply to get a courier sorted.
Even if you find a set with curb rash, you can get a full set refinished for about £250

I upgraded my tyres after a conversation with joe and he ran me through options and different levels of tyres. They seem pretty good so far and I read reviews on them before buying the tyres. The wheels look great and really finish the car off

Finding it hard to find FR wheels for decent price on eBay/gumtree.

Looks like Joe can do different tyres as per his reply attached.

Still not convinced though as for about £20 more, I can grab some reps from cm wheels and use the black circles deal to get the ps4s fitted locally.

I may be selling a set of FR titanium wheels (without tyres) 3 are completely unmarked, one has a scuff/corrosion so would need refurb to be mint. Is that what you are looking for? I’m not sure how much they are worth yet to give you a price.
