silcone turbo induction hose

quick question,
i'm after an uprated turbo induction hose such as the one on the forge motorsport website for £134

but i'v seen the same thing on ebay by a different company in HONK KONG for £50, anyone tried these???
what do you get for the £80 ya pay from forge??

appreciate that but anyone actually bought one and hows it compare physically, i take it the hose should be hard so you cant squash it, just seems £134 is a lot for a hose??? or am i talking like an old man

I know it's not a silicone hose but a few weeks ago i bought an armrest on ebay from hong kong and in hindsight i should have payed the extra £75 the dealer wanted as the cheap one doesn't fit properly and is badly made.

I've seen those items and to be honest anything that is being sold by a company on ebay has to be there for a reason.
with something like this it is all dwn to build quality and i wouldn't feel confident buying something fron abroad that i haven't inspected first hand

the reason it is so cheap is the hose is very poor quality, and if i remember rightly, a guy on here bought one and it didnt fit right

The layering of the hoses is far more uniform and consistent than of that from any other manufacturer which improves the overall structural integrity of the hoses up to 50%.
see the pics here and you can see the difference in quality that Forge has over other manufacturers:

the cheaper brand WILL have inconsistent layering, leading to flex in the hose and will be of a very cheap and poor quality (hence the price)

i cant say it enough, and the other guys have already echoed this "you get what you pay for"

If you are modifying your car and want it to work well, what ever you do, DONT scrimp and save on cheap foreign crap!

i'm still intrigued though.
if i hadn't picked up a forge one for 60 quid i'd have had a punt.but then i always did learn the hard way.
whats the feedback like on this hong kong stuff?

Wont be any better then the stock one. Will fold if you remap i recon.

just picked up mine cheap as well, from dpj

its well worth looking about matey as of course alot of guys are going BT now, so there will be perhaps a surplus of forge tips coming up for sale
