Sill plate led “FR” logo flickering

My sill plate led “FR” logo flickers. Is this repairable or do I need a new sill plate? I’m not sure if the flickering means it’s on its way out or a loose connection?

I have some LED Cupra sill plates that will fit if you’re interested? I was gonna fit them to my car, but haven’t got round to it, and can’t be arsed now. I’ve tested them. They both work.
