Sill protectors

Sorry posted this on the mark 2 forum instead of here.

Lockwood international do an 8 piece sill protectors in stainless steel for £53.95 +postage. Had these on my last car and they were very good quality. These ones have Leon etched into the steel.

No problem, there is a link on the Leon mark 2 forum to carbon fibre sill protectors that look good too, they include the b pillar and rear window protectors as well. You can find it under sill protectors and stocky username.

Hi folks, anyone tried the Lockwood protectors. They look generously sized and useful protectors. Don't want the lip showing outside the car though

Wish someone would make some stainless ones to fit the FR which already has a upper sill.

I've been looking too but really just want ones for the back doors although the carbon fibre effect ones looked interesting. Just not sure about the bits that would be stuck on the outside of the car inbetween the doors and the wee triangle at the quarterlight.

I made them up for a friend and they look quite good (biased of course)!
The front and rear ones have already been used by his kids jumping in and out so have done the job ok.
