single din flip out mk1 leon

i havent searched for previous thread i just wanted to start my own, does anyone have a single din flip out 7inch and what brand is it how do you rate it, im after one as i cant fit a double din in, i want to obviously play music satnav dvds, and possible hook consol and tv up to it. but the last 2 arnt a major big thing, i dont know much about radios and headunit so as much help as possible thanks

I had a clarion one but got in way of the cup holder which I always use

Yup unit was good it's all built in so no hide away unit to put some where

Have a look at some of these.

As long as you get the single din adapter (blanking plates as narrower than Seat radio) and the correct wiring block should be a straight fit

I had a kenwood, i got rid of it, when flipped out it covered the cup holder and more importantly the hazard light switch

I use a Ripspeed DV720 from halfords, 90 quid on offer atm. Covers hazard light when open, but goes in quickly if needed.

yeah im not to bothered about it covering hazard lights or cupholder lol a friend of my when in to buy the 90quid one it was on a double offer for 75quid and when he went to the tils he got it for 65 lol

dont these always break? had a few mates with them and on one or more cases the motors that slides the screen out and flip it up either stopped working or sticks?

suppose you get what you pay for and its a pretty good bargain for what you paid

Kenwood kvt are great unit pal I had two

Best thing you can add these later

Bluetooth
Tv tuner
Sat nav
Multichanger
Reverse cam
Other screens ect all at extra cost obviously
