You need more than the display to convert to climate I'm afraid. But you might find your manual dials fit in OK, it the control panel is the same size as the climate display unit.
gotta say people on here really helpful, yea please could i have the part numbers il get that done asap, as the standerd one does luk abit old and dull
ive put a tread up for the climate and its guna b alot hassle by the looks of it

i see what you mean if the matrix is the same size RobM, but my matrix is built in to the surround.... its a 51 plate leon, dont know if there was a slight facelife along the way..
jay87..
if you do a search under "upto date" it should show you a thread from me.
showing part no:s and prices.
it very easy to do. remove cover where the water jets out, don't worry if it breaks you have a new one. undo nut 13mm spanner i think...may need wd40 to make it easier..then pull it up..may need a wiggle or two..fit new one in reverse.
there is a guide for this i think pabs did it..
but one thing to say is that your new wiper hole that fits on the wiper spindle is diff from old wiper...old one has teeth...get you wiper in correct postion then tighten up the nut...still works well and NO JUDDER
