Get some millars XFE-PD from your local stockist, good stuff and good price. Make sure u dont add too much but then you probably knew that!
Would say it will be on a long life service plan, if so only use longlife oil from vag or one which has the vag spec on the bottle.
Thought they would have done been as VW/Audi/Skoda run variable servicing (longlife), weird they don't as the engines are capable of it and could be adapted to run variable with dealer 5051's.

Yep, the worst thing is they say that the Ibiza Cupra TDI needs to use SLX Longlife 3, but it has to be changed every year or 10k.

Just been looking at the ibiza cupra tdi's on autotrader, bit off topic but what are they like to own, drive (speed acceleration handling etc), insurance, reliability wise etc.
Had any trouble with the turbo going, injectors, fuel pressure etc or has it been fault free.

The only warranty issue I've had was with the accessory gear knob 
Acceleration is crazy due to the amount of torque, I'm not sure on top speed as it rarely goes over 40, the handling is much improved over the MK3 Cupra and the lower MK4s but the shockers are very hard so you feel all the bumps.
The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of revs, but thats diesels for you.

I'd back Tom B's last statement up about the lack of revs!
i too have a Cupra 160, owned for just a week now, and after the high revving Civic Type-R i used to have this is taking some getting used too!!!!
i also find that at very low revs, ie that point where your in second rolling to a roundabout to fast for a downchange to first, it can feel a bit gutless as you try to pull away. but once you hit the zone its fantastic and i love the 'wave' of torque you can ride through every gear

I used to have an Ibiza 16v, and although it redlined at around 6750, it was a hoot to keep it on the revs. With the derv, you feel like you're changing gear every 5 seconds.
Yeah the time it takes for the turbo to spool up is nasty at times, makes you want to keep it on the revs and wheelspin it off everywhere. I use mine mainly in town, and although the Revo remap helps a little bit, the amount of torque it kicks out means you're doing 50 in second with a blip of the throttle. I keep it switched off now!
