Ye could be not pushed in enough, especially if the connector doesn't have that purple lever.

Other possibility is the motor has been damaged, but best to try everything else first!

Ok we never got the needles out as the part to take them out had been glued down. We had to cut a part if the Wight plastic to get to the pins at the Speedo then then heat the cut part back on. Yes it's been that bad. Also the last number on my main mileage is a little buffered but ok if you press on that part. Going to take em out again and try for round two at putting them back in again

Took the dials back out and put on new connectors and am getting nothing dials are dead. does this look like a new clock set or am i missing something.
it was working fine then i hit a bump in the road and all dials died.

Car will be going to seat on Monday for new dials as just had the cluster tested and its gone beyond repair.
Seat have told me it will be a 4 dial cluster rather than the 6 dial. have taken pics before and will take pics after and will post them if anyone is interested.
It cost £450 for dial to be supplied, fitted and coded.
Have told them i have taken everything off already and its just a case of unplugging the dials and they will fall out, and told them i will refit that trim if the just plug it in and code them. so they going to give me a lower price on the day.
