6 weeks ago I parked my car up at work in Norfolk and blasted off for a spot of work in the Arabian sunshine. Only prep carried out was a quick wax with AG HD wax and I connected a solar panel to trickle charge the battery.
Arrived back at my car early hours of Monday morning expecting to jump start it, but no, fired first time! Great result as I'd been travelling 20 hours and still had my 1 1/2 hour drive back to Lincoln.
Looked a sorry state but a quick wash and the beading from the wax is still as good as when I left. I love this car!!

I thought I recognised the car. Are you on the Lincs VAG FB group? If your interested there's a track day at Blyton park organised by LVSR on 7/6/13. It should be a fun day with lots going on on and off track. Hopefully I get chance to meet you at a local meet some point.

Thanks mate, the lights in the shelters are a bit yellowish so the reds not as bright in the pics as it is in the flesh

They had a meet a couple of weeks back but I couldn't make it. We'll have to make sure these a Seat presensnts next time. They sound like a good bunch of lads.

Yeh have to get over there sometime. I'm at Marham in Norfolk, so I'm usually away all week and just around at the weekend.
Haha my bad! Ill get onto it, hopefully an easy week at work so should be on by next weekend........
