Small Chip Repair Advice

Hi,
Its about time I tried to 'make good' some of the larger 'small' chips that are noticeable on my car (up to ~10mm max and in visible paces like below door handles etc...) - its a 2005 Leon MK1 in Platinum Grey.

Just wondering what is the best way to go about doing things. I have read somewhere that you can get touch up paint and fill them in using a cocktail stick or similar - other people seem to say using colored polish works good, but im still confused - what is best?, how do i do it?, where do i get touch up paint from (and type)? should i be starting with a polished car?

Any advice would be much appreshiated!

Cheers!

best to get the touch up from SEAT, then use an artist brush to gently add paint, very thinnly and slowly, dont go filling then with massive blobs of paint as it will just run or fall out....

Wipe the areas first with some white spirit to clean them, then add the paint, leave to dry for a few hours before doing anything. Slowly slowly, gently gently is best advice for painting chips
