Smashed the splitter to bits... few questions?

Hi Guys,

In the dark tonight, took a corner a little fast and didn't see the massive drop at the the end of the road. Car slammed in to the ditch and landed on the splitter. It has split the splitter (haha) loads, and completely smashed one side of it off.

Now i know that a new splitter is only going to set me back about £25 from the dealer, but do i need to get my bumper or anything else checked? The bumper looks fine but i dunno about anything else.

It was one hell of a whack.

I suppose if the bumper doesn't look out of place or broken it should be ok . Just put another splitter on it it should be fine

Check the center section of the bumper underneath where the splitter attaches with the posts - just check it hasn't taken the mounting point out or left plastic jammed in there
