Looking nice! Everyone is leaving the 1.2 crew I'm going to be stuck with my 1.2!

I know sad thing is i've been quoted 1170 on an FR but my 1.2 is 1200! It's just selling mine and funding an FR !

Been trying some quotes myself for next year...£1200 for FR tdi, £1500 for FR 20vt, £1300 for MK4 Golf GTI 20vt.

Wish I could sell mine now, because the value is only going to go down, so I'll have to put quite a bit towards the next car :/

Just a diesel the 130 TDI sport is still more than a tdi fr! figure that!?

The thing with my car is, got loads of people asking to buiy it but it isn't as good as it looks, on 91k now, got left hand drive headlights, passenger window doesn't go down and needs a new lambda so i will have an hard time trying to sell

Insurance is strange at times lol, my quotes above have a Golf GTI cheaper than a FR even though the both are 1.8t engines with 150bhp.

Ah thats a shame. Mines just on 62k but I'm sure I wont get much over 2/2.5k for it in a years time.

spent all day today getting it as clean as the other one was today. just sat waiting now for the seat coverings to dry as ive had them through the wash like i did with the last one.
pics as always...

nearly there with the cleaning now. just a few finishing off bits under the bonnet to do. time to get saving for paint now :thumbsup2:

does dont it. seeing it next to my old one has made me want that on even more too. im on a mission saving for getting it painted now. got a big jar and putting all my spare money at the end of each week in so i can get the bumper painted, that dent took out the bonnet and the bonnet painted, and them few little dents took out the wing. then it will be a minter

will do dude. just let me know when bud. ill get my mate to come with his lcr too if hes not working etc. i miss the 1.2 atm. i put a lot of time into that to make it how it was, i just hope it dont go to **** as i was weary of selling it so close to home for that reason. but it seems to be getting taken care of and laura seems to be loving it

havent updated for a while although not much has been happening. facelift bumper is at the painters and should be ready for the weekend so pics to come when it is.
also we're considering selling up in favour of a dieseasel fr due to the price of fuel these days.
just have to see what happens as i may change my mind yet. if i do get another though it will be a bright coloured one again as i miss the "head turning" of yellow one i had previously

i must say... so do i. i miss this loads...

and its such a shame whats happening to it. i see it about all the time, its now beige not yellow due to not getting the attention i used to give it. and its a shame as it was near mint when i had it. this ones a great car and its loads of fun. but for some reason, my little 1.2 will always be better.... because when i had it it was yellow.
