Hello there, recently I bought a snow foam lance and valet pro snow foam.

I've used this a few times now and I've never really been impressed with the results.

What dilution should I be using? Or is the foam I have not very good?

Thanks

What SF gun have you got??? I use about an inch of SF (Auto Smart Dura Foam) and mix with warm water, Ive always found its the gun which makes the biggest diffrence.

After you've used it do you rinse it off and hand wash your car?

I got a lance from eBay, I'm getting a good thick covering, leaving to dwel then pressure washing off. It doesn't seem to be taking a lot off though, I've heard people use it as a quick easy wash with good results.

I'm not looking to use it as a lazy way of washing the car, after rinsing I spray more on and hand wash it with shampoo while its still on and rinse again. I just expected the pre rinse to take more off. Could it be down to my dilution? Am I not making it strong enough.

To add I bought it mainly to use on my girlfriend black Audi A1 to offer abit more protection against swirls and scratches

Mine usually takes off a decent amount of road dirt but ill always wash 2bm after

If you're looking for something that will make your car look clean for speeds sake you'd be better off using a degreaser rather than a foam.

^^ results like this are much more achievable with a degreaser in a normal spray bottle. For results like that with foam you'd probably have to let it dwell for a good 45 minutes, which can be difficult depending on weather.

Had same issue turboboy but now i do the following with some good results:

Powerwash the car to get some grit off
Snowfoam the car and leave 5 mins or so
Use my sheepskin wash mitt to clean
Power wash the rest of the foam off

Sorted :)
