If you think that Seat paint is thin, you should check out that of a Suzuki.
My metallic black Ignis sport had the thinnest paint known to man. Just driving it off the forecourt gave it loads of stonechips, an if you left bird crap on it for any longer than an hour, it would eat through to the metal.
I kid you not! :-o

im in the vehicle graphics game and ive been told the protective film is pretty hard to fit. i only know one guy who does it and he is an expert fitter of graphics(just like me:)) and he says its very hard to fit. he even he has to rip it off and start again sometimes. so i would probably avoid any diy kits that are out there.

think it costs about 3 hundred quid roughly. i think on most cars possibly with the exception of silver ones you can see a slight, and by slight i mean very slight line on the bonnet but only under very very close inspection.

im gonna try the poor mans protective film which is clear vinyl on my bonnet at some point ill let you know how i get on.just don't want to remove the lovely zaino the cars wearing just now:).

try the owners manual im sure i have the same sticker in there thats in my boot that has the paint code on it
