HI,

I have some issues with my 52plate Ibiza 130tdi which are annoying me. Unfortunately i am not an ibiza enthusiast therefore i do not have the passion to upgrade the spec and make it immaculate. Having said that, i have to say this is an amazing car to drive which offers economy and perfomance. I am in two minds, i dont know whether or not to sell it or spend money fixing it? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Faults

Clutch or flywheel is possibly on its way out (will get someone to look at it, makes noises)
Fuel gauge (temperamental, works intermittently)

ALSO i can honestly say the car has never broken down on me and has ALWAYS started first time, even in the freezing temperatures!

I will be most grateful for any advise or offers.

Interesting that you havn't mentioned the suspension as an issue ?

I have a Sport PD130 and I really hate the suspension, truely awful !!

How do you find it ?

erm, i agree it is a very hard ride. I used to own a MK2 golf gti which was on coilovers so i guess im used to it. Its not the best round corners but at the same time it isnt shockingly bad. Average handling to be honest.
