Think I might edit the title of the thread to "Sound Thingy". It'll catch on, I'm sure lol.

On a separate note, how do I edit my previous posts?

Dying to try it now lol

Fitting revo intake next week when I am off work, so hopefully it'll sound nice with the exhaust and no SOUND THINGY

Yow tekin the pi55? :D
Headlines in Northern News next week.... " firecrews called to release man trapped in bulkhead of snot green Seat Leon, victim had glazed eyes and was muttering about 'the voices in his car' :p

Sometimes it lets u edit them and sometimes it doesn't!

AND i can't call it a soundaktor, keep going to call it a soundactuator lol

Got the hardest test of all tomorrow, GF's got day off so we're going for a 'test' drive, if she's ok with it (it is 'her' car ;) ) it'll stay disconnected.

On another sound related note...had the window open today and drove away and heard a bit of a whine when I accelerated.
Not making any claims yet...but night book it into a specialist juuuust to be sure

Is this different to the turbo whine/whistle?

Mine does this also so I hope to God that it's normal. Although I've just dropped mine off to Seat so they can look at a metallic sounding rattle on startup and idle for me

Ur the best.

Yay! I knew it

I think it is just normal turbo whistle, but the car had done 50k so...just keeping an eye out. It's only audible when the window is down and then it's very faint, so I'm guessing it's nothing

Better to be safe with a turbo than very, very sorry!

Mine is also very faint (even without the Sound Thingy) and only audible, like you say, with the window down and also only up to about 30/40mph. Then wind noise takes over.
