Decided to remove the charger and other tyre puncture accessories from the spare wheel area and have a actual spare wheel in there.
I found a spare wheel from my garage and threw it in but what I realised is that the spare wheel is too high and my boot carpet is uneven now because of the spare wheel.
Another thing I noticed is that the spare tyre is loose and is sliding back & forth all over in the boot even though I tried to secure it with that belt.
I know its common sense but i just want to make sure...... is the spare tyre too thick (even though it is thinner than normal tyres) and is that why its making my boot uneven. Or is my car made not to have a spare tyre.
Lastly do I need a bigger tyre e.g. 16"/18" to stop it sliding back & forth? When I tried to fit the spare tyre at home when I had a puncture, it was kind of difficult to fit it on the car due to the size of it probably?
Could that be the solution to my spare tyre problems.
