Hoping for some help please :D
Recently had my house burgled and wifes Seat Ibiza FR Act Black (15 Plate) was taken which was found about a week later. Although no major damage, locks and keys replaced as original keys were nicked and never recovered and done at no cost and NCD through insurance still in full tact;)
However I had to get a replacement Sat nav at my cost and one wheel and tyre was damaged.
I managed to get a part set of 3x wheels and tyres which are the 17" black Tagus with very good original tyres and excellent condition wheels.
The car is now back to A1 and I now have a spare in the boot.
Only problem is the original tool kit was the one with the compressor/repair solution ....ie. no jack
....and the polystyrene insert wont fit inside the wheel.
Question is wanted to know is if the older plastic jack kit will fit inside this wheel with space for the original compressor kit.
If not anyone knows which kit will fit the 17" tagus alloy without rattling around in the boot I would lve to know.
Thanks for reading would desparately appreciate a solution
Regards

Why are you trying to retain the compressor etc now that you have a full sized spare alloy? Maybe consider the alternative "wallet" type tool kit as that can be fastened down on to the spare wheel with the clip/band or the belt type of retainer cum spare wheel "handle to assist lifting it out of the wheel well. Another thing to try to get if you are trying to make up a full tool kit, is a plastic threaded dowel which is handy to support the wheel just prioer to removing it and when first mounting it onto the hub, my old Passat had that, 2000 B5 model. If you feel that going down that road means that the centre of the boot floor is now without its support, then cut up a cover from 4>mm hardboard, I made one up for a Ford about 27 years ago and it lives on in daughter's late 2009 Ibiza providing much needed support for the floor area above the centre of the spare wheel.

Just some ideas, that is all.

Edit:- just a warning, while your NCD might still be intact, you or your wife have just become a bigger risk to an insurance company, and that will cost more than it should for the next few years!
