I've seen various ideas on this, but thought I'd better ask about my car. 2025 model Arona, recently bought it, it came with aerosol and pump puncture repair kit, no jack. As it has a spare wheel well getting an actual spare seems a good idea. The wheels are 17" (I was expecting 16" ) with 205/55 R17 tyres. Now the well is about 26" across and the diameter of the wheels across the tyres also seems roughly 26" so I doubt one would actually fit in. (I can't try this because I haven't got a spare or jack at the moment...)
I've read that some people use a wheel smaller than the road wheels as a spare. Last car had this, it was 1" dia less. (Or the skinny temp spare wheel which is available for these cars but it seems to me that an actual road wheel that would allow longer distance if used would be best).

This is the first vehicle I've had that doesn't have a spare so advice would be gratefully received!
