spark plugs ???

hi folks this is my first post on here, a got myself an 05 plate LCR in red last week and so far i think its fantastic, it has everything that an ex boyracer who is now settled with a kid could want lol. I had a quick look on here and i always use ngk anyway but you all seem to be suggesting bkr7e to use but according to my mate at maccess and the ngk website i need to use pfr6q just wondered if you lot have any input ????

pfr6q are oem replacement plugs and are fine for oem map

bkr7e are 1 grade colder plugs and ideal for mapped applications

now this is the problem i dont know if its running standard or not as the guy i had it from thought it was but im not so sure, it appears to be running more boost to me but i only every had a quick go in one about 2 years ago and i dont know if it was a 210 or 225 so would i be better just getting bkr7e anyway ????

yeah i would.... check the gapping on them aswell if its mapped, gap to .028 from .031


vagcom logs will confirm mapped or not.

so i need to get it on vagcom then, how much is that gonna cost ?????

I believe you still can use the BRK6 series.... even with a remap. They say go one range colder when going over 75+ hp gain....
