Just having a look at a Cupra that I was possibly going to have a look at on Saturday

Got a couple of things I haven't heard of and just wanted to run by you guys to see if you've heard of them?

It's "APR Chipped"... Is the APR a "chip" or a remap?

It's got a GRS Front Mounted Intercooler, anyone heard of one before?

An "Uprated wastegate frequency valve" ???

And "Over boost solution kit"... Absolutely no idea on this one!

APR is a re-map and GRS is a known intercooler like forge ect. Frequency valve must mean re-serculating valve. over boost solution kit may mean a turbo timer??

thats the 206bhp one, i was suprised how low the bhp was for all those mods - but i suppose it only running the standard turbo. Looks like a clean car though

could be either remap or chip

most probably an n75j valve


And "Over boost solution kit"... Absolutely no idea on this one!

This is a bleed valve for adjusting boost

I don't think APR serial remap Ibiza's (or didn't last xmas)

most likely a physical chip - but one of the tidies jobs done out there.

GRS had some severe pressure drops

I've heard different opinions about them, mostly good, but imo worth spending extra, if your going for high spec.

But people decribing stuff such as :
"Uprated wastegate frequency valve"

And "Over boost solution kit"...


Just seems to be an Anus of a person!
