Speedo stopped :-(

Just had a text from Margaret to say the fuel light came on, went "bing" and the speedo stopped working.

A quick search has brought up many cluster problems but it's there any direct connection between the fuel light and the speedo?

Quick update - another text says it comes and goes so it sounds like a connection issue, and I was fixing the aerial connector at the head unit yesterday so I reckon I've pulled the dash wiring loom about too much, easy fix I hope!

Popped the drivers cubby thing down, stuck my hand up to the speedo and pushed the plug in. Seems to have done the trick but we'll see when we go out later.

Didn't work, after a mile or so the speedo died again.
But the fact it went a mile first is significant I reckon. That to me rules out a wiring issue and tells more it's a sensor on the way out. That and the light on the dash panel anyway! Lol

I don't think so, Speedo, tacho, fuel and temp is all iirc
