Speedometer Calibration

Hi,

Can anyone recommend how or who I can get to have my speedometer calibrated?

It's currently out by 5MPH all the way through I think due to the 18" wheels.

I wouldn't bother. Speedo's usually over read anyway.

It shouldn't make a big difference if you've changed to bigger wheels, unless you have the wrong size tyres on.

Most manufacturers calibrate speedo's around 5mph faster as standard. Prob some kind of pointless safety feature

EXACTLY! they do it to cover their arse by 5%

The OP's wheels/tyres should be the same overall diameter, more wheel but less sidewall.

No most Leons appear to be 5 mph slow - mine and my daughters are on std 17"wheels.
That is also why the police normally only convict at +10% of speed limit co's that the manufactures tolerance
