Hey guys,

Well i'm spraying my bumpers and patching up some scratches that i have had to use filler on, i've searched the web for a guide and found this Halford's one, i was just wondering if you guys thought this manual was a good one to go by since i don't have much experience in spray painting and want the best finish possible.

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_171905_langId_-1_p1_38270_p2_31276

Also i was wondering if anyone had a link or knew where i could get the K&N induction from?

Cheers.

hey i sprayed my old car back bumper, didnt look too bad ...applying the lacquer was the most odd coz it didnt stick well and it didnt shine as good until i applied like 2-3 cans of the stuff, grrr! ...but after reading that guide its prob coz i didnt rub down with 1200 after i applied primer  i done it before lol.

top tip i can give u is do it when its warm otherwise it develops matt patches and with no wind. ...but def try it before you pay lots of money, i done it on my 1.4 and i know i wont be doing anything big like that again on my cupra lol ...just lil bits here n there.

show some progress pics mate, good luck.
