you can pick up a 106 diesel for a couple of hundred quid and the insurance is peanuts! you'l probable find running 2 cars cheaper than running the cupra for 60miles a day! coz a tidy 106 diesel cost next to nothing to run!!

thats what i did and the best thing iv ever done

Thats what i done, now you have my 106.

Limited mileage on the ibiza for lower insurance which pays for the other cars insurance. :D

this 106 diesel still around? i wouldn't mind inheriting it next lol!

i dont think its an option though, due to finances, i have no money to maintain the car, and i always find things to spend money on.. like the dash, and other various bits. i needto get something that i wont spend cash on and do without a cupra for a while. i will definately be buying one back in the future though!!

Yeh its good to be diferent for sure, thats what i loved about my cupra.

Flocking is easy with the right kit, im getting an electostatic one to do it properly but you can buy hand held puff type ones from www.frost.co.uk which will do the job if you wanted a quick cheap job

Could this flocking from frost be used to cover my headlining? If so is it likely to last or will it drop off over time?

Its all down to what glue you use as to weather it drops over time or not. Im still experimenting with glues atm as i do retrims for people on the side. Best thing to do is grab a spare roof lining and flock it using the Frost kit, its not expensive so worth a pop

I was going to retrim it initially using some faux suede i picked up on SCN but after thinking about it decided it would be too hard to do as i have an electric sunroof fitted (lots of contours compared to normal) and thus thought this might be a better option.

You say you do retrims on the side - how much would you charge to either retrim my headling or flock it? ;)

I should have all my grey interior parts back from flocking this week. Dash out next weekend as im doing too much in one go, at least there wont be a single piece of grey in my car. :D
