Squeak when steering... is it a front wheel bearing??
I did a search but it doesn't describe the noise, not that words could easliy describe this noise!

It's only on steering right or left, 1/2 lock when driving, not so much when going slowly, just noticed it now, guess it's a dealer trip tomorrow??

squeek on steering depends

is it is like a vibration deep squeek? if its a sqeely squeek my cupra when i first bought it when ever i turned the wheel left of right the breaks would squeek in bursts was just a case of new pads and had brake fluid changed too! then the squeeks stopped so try putting copper grase on the back of the pads if pads arent low and on the fingers of the calipers stops the brakes from squeeking! doesnt sound like a wheel bearing if its a squeek normaly its a vibration and a low pitch grind type noise!

Could be one of your suspension top mount bearings have gone. One of mine went and it made a screaching when the steering wheel was passing the forward position.

Not sure, just finished work so am off to dealers to ask, road trip etc.
The suspension top mounts/bearings were replaced when coilovers fitted so not them, might be brakes, it's almost like a whirring sound??

Wheel bearing gone, not sure which one though, and SEAT quoted me £60 per wheel bearing and an hours labour a side, upwards of £250... Ha Ha!

Think its a trip to Alltech!
