Squeek from cambelt/tensioner area - LCR MY52

Hi Guys,

brought my LCR about 3 months ago and part of the deal was that the car would have the 60K full service (including waterpump and cambelt change)

Started her up this morning and allowed to warm up (as usual) but there is a squeek coming from the cambelt/tensioners 'area'

Im not 100% what it is TBH, I have details of the garage that carried out the work and a reciept also but they are over 70 miles away

What should I do?

I'd take it back - or at least speak to them. A 70 mile drive is nothing compared to a top end rebuild...

true, im not 100% what it is tho.

Should i get it checked out first you think?? then act?? but thats me incurring the costs.

Speak to them and see what they suggest you do. The last thing you want is a tensioner bearing failing...
