SRI Reset Problems

I have used VCDS for many years to reset the SRI on a number of cars including my Exeo and 2009 1.4 Ibiza successfully.

My wife has a 63 plate Ibiza Toca on a 3 year SEAT service plan. The car has its yearly service in January but the service spanner has popped up now in October in the memory/channel 2 on the display.

When I reset the SRI with the 09 Ibiza both the channel 1 and 2 on the right stick reset together. With the Toca only channel 1 resets leaving channel 2 as of today reading 15 days to go. No matter what I do the channel 2 shows service due information even though it is not due for 3 months.

My only thought is that I need to access the 2 channels separately or there is some kind of glitch in the progamming. I would welcome any advice from the forum.

I got there in the end. This is my first fixed service interval car. All I had to do was set the time and distance since last service to 0.

It appears that channel 1 shows variable information and channel 2 shows fixed service information and needs to be reset to 0 separately

its a bit sad replying to your own thread I know !
