ST European Tour

Hi All,

I picked up my ST FR 1.4 TSI ACT DSG last Saturday & tomorrow we embark on a 1000 mile road trip to South Sweden to see my brother. We will travel from England, through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark & eventually to Sweden.

We already have the roof bars on ready to strap my brothers Kayak to it later this evening.

After a weeks driving the Leon feels like the ideal car for this kind of trip. I used to have a MK2 FR but this takes things to another level!

And of course Red is the best colour!

I'll try to post updates as we travel across the continent.

Has anyone driven further afield in their MK3? If so, where to? Photographic evidence welcome

Good luck on your drive. Next month me and my FR184 SC will be driving from Milton Keynes-Croatia, after a week there we'll be travelling up to Hungary to see family and then a week after that back to MK

My old mk3 SE took us to France, Belgium, Germany on two separate occasions. It even survived a trip around the Nurburgring!

Mileage allowing I would love to take my leon for a Euro road trip Either to the Alps or maybe take it "home" to Barcelona.... (I have a High mileage allowance on my PCP.... but I do need to wait till next year to take a long trip as living in the north of Scotland it is a 1500mile round trip to the Channel ports/tunnel....)
