I don't see why the generic map is thrown around. It's a fricking generic car, Your telling me after engine wear in at 800m when most people start to tune a car your cupra was suddenly operating better at lower temperatures and air pressure than mine was and needed tweaking to match the best performance.Most of the Revo and APR cars that have gone onto Ricks rollers have not made the figures claimed by the software developers .
Also I would class Revo as a generic map just like superchips . They develop a map on 1 car and use the same file on hundreds of cars with little to no adjustment to allow for different engines and tolerances . I speak from experience with both the tuners I have mentioned. I don't have any experience with APR and know Ecotune up my way are highly regarded but I'll still be using Unicorn software when my warranty is up as I know the work he puts into every car he does .
Understandable a custom map for when when a car is stage 2 or above with different components being thrown on. But stage 1 really
