copied this from another forum im on that i posted a week or so ago (tdisport.com)

ok been to jbs today and erm yes ...... wont be using them again

booked in for 11.00 i got ther at 10.30 dont like to keep people w8ing car got put on the dyno at 11.30 and ones again im in the reception zzzzzz

well the dyno man got ther and i herd the fans go on i wonderd if i was guna be abel to wach so the reception man said go outside and yo uwill eb abel to wach i went out the roller shuter was down to exhaust level i thort hmmm im not getin on my knees to look under with my face at the side of the exhaust so went back inside said the shuter was 80% down

he said come thru this way so he took me thru to the dyno and he asked if i could wach and the dyno man said no so we went bk to reception i said to teh receptionist who do you kno that takes ther car for a dyno and carnt watch ther own car on the dyno ? ....

that was that i noticed the fans siting ontop of the bumper very close for around 10 mins between runs ther was 2 runs from the sound of it

im still not impresed with my results considering it was done on the mappers home dyno and the fact i couldent watch the car on the dyno really thrustrates me

any way the dyno man come bk into the office and said it was making same as the car they had in the day before he also said u could of wached from outside just not from inside as if it comes off an kills sum1 they would be in teh dog house (for me thats a load of old ***** just my opinion)

the dyno man then said ther was a strange sort of reverb noise from the exhaust at high rpm and i need to get it sorted.

after that carnt realy rember what he was saying apart from they could tweek teh car a little more with a new exhaust. (milltek cat back will cost me 600+ r32 style)

the curent exhaust i hav on i wouldent of thort was ristrictin it ther isent even any black smoke so ther has to be a bit more torque to be had

i just get the feeling they want more money from me be4 they will even consider tweeking the map and even then i dont think tehy would tweek the map and would just flash my ecu with a generic stage 2+ map and say the new exhaust made and extra 15bhp and 30 torque

for this kind of customer service and the price they charge i will not be goin back again i feel left out on everything they hav done from they first day i arived at JBS

here is the dyno run take a look at the temperatur 5.2c comon thats gota be wrong or he was flash cooling my FMIC between runs to get the best results possible and if thats so even the results it made arnt very impressive and yes ther beter than my 1st but my 1st dyno i did see it go on the ramp and was involved in every part of the dyno and ther is around 12 to 15% difrence from dyno to dyno

mayb im expecting two much and im way off the mark about jbs but this is my personal experiance.

http://imageshack.us/f/861/mydynojbs.jpg/

now ill be looking at 1 more dyno run at either rs tuning or cc tuning who is the most recomended and who is the most friendly down to earth person who will help u be were u want to be and also explain the limitation and restriction that u face at the end of ur maping session for if you decide to do more mods for further power

thanks again and id just like to say the reception man at jbs is spot on other than that dont waste your money

im booked in with rs tuning this friday so ill let u kno what it makes on ther dyno

btw gross in your other thread u said ur drive shaft was hiting ur downpipe and then u ca smell smoke i think u mayb broke your downpipe or bent it and its put strain on its main conection joint

Mine made roughly the same as yours on the MILD map (222.8 342lb/ft), have since then had a fill milltek fitted and then the WILD map loaded. It is deffo quicker than when it was running the MILD map.

I will try and hunt out my RR printout from the MILD map. Was going to get another one done as I am not sure what it is putting out now but £60 for a dyno puts me off.

at jbs custom code i asked and asked and ASKED again if ther was a difrent stage 2 map with they reply NO every time

jbs is ok if your dpf failes and u need a new one its an improvement in power and also removal of the dpf but ther is nothing custom about ther maping abilty at all

they will not be ever get any of mymoney ever again in this lifetime or the next

ther is way beter tuners out ther who listen to ther customers and who will try and help you in your problem

i find the man at jbs to be an arragont p**ck im sorry but thats the way he has made me feel

i dont evn get any black smoke at all that either means its tuned perfect and just on the limit or its got a lot more potential and i find the map jbs hav gave me to be just a subtle map

i like how they said to me they would tweek my map wen i get the exhasut sorted ther aint anythin wrong with my exhaust and thers no resson they carnt tweek the map how i want it after all its a stage 2 map so it should be tweeked for how i want it and how it suits my car and it isent its just a generic flash pile of junk lmao

ok rage vented :)

My RR graph on MILD map with STD exhaust

jbs.jpg

comparing my MILD graph to yours mine seems to hold the power longer than yours.

I hold around 220bhp from just under 3500rpm to the red line where as yours is nearer to 4000rpm before it hits the same point, so mine is reaching the full BHP quicker than yours.

The same scenario with the torque, mine hold maximum from around 2500rpm to around 3500rpm where as yours is around 2700rpm to 3200rpm which isnt much of a range to hold the torque

and also look at the temp on my graph 5.2c lol and urs is like 23c lower temp also boosts power

edit
the only difrence is you hav the panel filter im still on stock and i do no ther is a restrictive plastic thing inthe botom of my airbox but i hav left it in for now as i want the car to be the same for on all the dyno runs i hav

I only have a standard filter, that was a mistake by JBS the filter was standard, I would leave the plastic part in as it smooths the airflow out.

After that I changed the filter for an aftermarket one and then did some logs and found the following:

http://seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=284379

So now back to standard filter

Theres a reason why JBS got kicked off the forum there **** and so are there maps. Thats not even the worst of the stuff ive herd.

Lesson learned eh ;)

Go Get the downpipe checked,Mine was leaking!

I refused to take it back to JBS so Milltek Invited me to go to their HQ, They replaced the downpipe with a newer style one
