2018 Leon 2.0 TDI FR
I have had intermittent engine light that has appeared a few times when starting car.
On dash - Start Stop Error. Engine light and flashing coil.
Stop engine and restart and flashing coil goes off.
On 3 occasions over the past year this has happened and lasted a few days and then gone away completely. Car has felt fine with no obvious issues with anything.
Today it started again. turned off and on. Engine light stayed on and coil went off. Drove into work. On way to work engine cut out when driving. then felt like it was juddering and trying to restart repeatedly. Stopped car. Off and turned on again. Drive about 20 meters and it did it again. Stropped, off and on, deactivated the start stop and it drive the rest of the road absolutely fine apart from engine light still on.
Will be taking to get faults read, but any one had this or got initial ideas on what might be?
