I havent started my car in nearly 2 months now, its gonna need jump starting but is there anything i should do before i fire her up?

All levels are ok btw.

Thanks.

Nah, just do it.

Mind the rear pads if you move it - they might be well bound to your discs by now

Thanks Mark, yeah ive had that with the rear pads as i live on a slight slope (like most people in south wales lol) so they do tend to bind a little.

How did it go Philw? Just be aware of condensation in the petrol if the car has bin stored outdoors, typical around this time of year.

Prebs

if it's gonna be left for 4 weeks or more i usually slip a battery terminal off too

just note alarm etc will no longer work then mind

You could unplug the injector multiplugs then crank it over a few times. Lets the oil get round the engine and to the turbo, try to use a booster or jump it off another car (so you don't flatten the battery)

Did that when my car was off the road last year for about 3 months, after fitting BT etc.

Only an Idea, dunno how much difference it makes, just nothing runs dry that way.
