starting problem

Ibiza mk3 cupra

i have just went to get into my car when it wont start.

i have no dash lights at all, i turn the key and when normally the engine lights come on nothin happens, it cranks over but the dash does not light up, horn dont work, windows dont work, blowers dont work, but dont worry the radio does, i spoke to my local vag man and he said it could be a wet ecu. im just wondering has anyone had this.

ok its lookin betterish, the dash lights have now come bk on but when i turn the key it makes the sound like the batteryis dead, i have checked the voltage and it is at 12.5v so thts fine, i just dont kno the problem i have been lookin all over this forum and still have not found anyone with the same problem, if anyone has any ideas that could help tht would b great thanx

i av the same prob m8, all the lights are on, the car started fine before, came to try it this mornin and nothing. it turns over and sounds like its firing but wont keep runnin. thers a yellow light flasin with a car and a key through it.

btw mine aint a cupra its just a mk3 ibiza 1.4
