Steering feels loose?

Hi guys,

My steering wheel/column rattles when going over bumps and also lacks feel when it comes to turning into any corners etc.

The steering wheel has a lot of free play - i can move it left to right quite a lot without the car changing direction.

Does anyone else's do the same?

I'm running 205/45/R16's, AP coilovers & front upper strut brace.

Try tightening up the 2 bolts at the bottom of the steering colum. There is a thread/guide somewhere about it. Have a search mate.

I think i remember seeing that but can't remember what the thread it called

I've tried searching various things but can't get it to come up.

Just done it but haven't road tested it yet.

The 2 bolts weren't loose though

no mine weren't either but did make a difference, especially to the symptoms you described.
