Steering wheel switches

I have a 2.0 tdi Fr Leon, the volume on the steering wheel doesn't work. Is it fine to fit some switches from a non Fr steering wheel to mine? They look identical..

Yes, all that matters is if the wheel does/doesn't have paddles and if the existing buttons do/don't have a VIEW button
