Steering Wheels?!?

Right,
First question, can you fit later model Leon Steering wheels into a Mk1 without modification?
I am lead to believe that you can fit a mk6 golf wheel as the fitment is the same, so what about later model Leons, or even Ibiza?!

What wheel does anyone else have, or do we all go for the 225 style wheel?

I also have a brand New Momo Jet 320mm wheel I was thinking of fitting, but would rather keep the airbag I think

If the interior of the LCR didnt have the red bits I would have a new MK2 Cupra R or GTI one.

Ive seen a LCR with a new Scirrocco R wheel.... It was heaven

Good thinking, its to go onto a 2000 LC so nothing red inside, just a large expanse of black and grey!

a mk2 steering wheel is diff to a mk 1 the airbags are diff shape.
if you was to buy the wheel and airbag it shud fit

as for the momo wheel if you fitted it you would lose the horn and the airbag light would be on all the time?

My Mk4 Golf R32 wheel is very nice though a bit shiny and slippery.

I would still have the horn, and you can buy a resistor from VW to attach to the loom to complete the circuit!
To be honest my airbag light is on anyway, as the seat connector was disconnected.
