Stereo/Music/iPhone issues

Hi guys,

Firstly I hope everyone is coping okay!

Secondly, apologies as I'm sure this has probably been covered loads in the past but I've had a quick look and couldn't find the answer I needed. If the resolution is already about and someone could point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.

THIRDLY! Full disclosure, for my sins I'm an absolute car amateur so as simply as you can break it down for me would be ideal

Basically I've just purchased a 2011 Ibiza, and am having no luck getting the music from my iphone11 playing through the stereo. Most of the google searches I've done have shown replies about needing an extra cable etc, but most of these are from around that year and talk about iPhone 3/4, so I thought I'd better do a more current check.

Connecting my phone via the standard apple lightning cable allows me to charge but not play music (device not supported). And bluetooth seems to let me take calls but not play music.

Anyone know how I can get my iPhone11 music playing through the stereo?

I had a similar problem with my AUX, it sounded horrible. I guess the connection is loose.

I got one of these to work with my standard Ibiza Cupra 2010 head unit. Works perfectly. Crystal clear music too and a fast charger.

You can set it to a radio frequency and pair it to your phone via bluetooth and tune the radio to the plug, or even plug a USB with music on to play direct.
