Stiff cupra gearbox?

Afternoon all,

just test drove a cupra and the gears felt quite stiff, had to give teh stick a good shove to change. is this normal? bloke said its meant to be like it but just wanted to check?

that's not normal.

probably crappy cables.... maybe not.

Definitely not normal should be easy to go into gears. Could be linkages or daft enough wrong oil in gearbox. Don't take my word for it tho,only suggesting

k cool cheers guys, it goes in ok, just a bit heavy, or at least just heavier then my 1.4!!
