Your higher mileage was better looked after I guess? Or had the 60k been in an unknown crash? Badly repaired?
Would be nice to take two fsh standard, well looked after examples, one about 40k, one about 150k and drive them back to back see how they compare.
I really believe these are good cars, well maintained they shouldn't lose much.

Both had fsh, i think its due to mods i personally think mods and maps make these a better car to drive....

wow that is a tidy little car and a low mile one at that little out my price range. im sure he will make 3k on it faily easy as its pretty well looked after. not sure he will want my mx5 lol.

As it would be a keeper I'd offer him £2500. It's been up for a while now so I think he'd take it! Give him the spiel that your a member and looking to make it even better.
Trouble is I don't have cash to offer him right now as I would need to sell my car. I just thought I would chuck post up see if anyone fancied an mx5 got one chap who may be interested. And another one but was too rough even for me.

I chose the mx5 becuase they are such a fun car to drive never diss it till you have drove one. Seriously well handling 50/50 balanced car. I do love it but I can't fit bikes in it!!!

I have driven a couple mx5s. mostly a eunos, 1.6 thing. Polybushed, exhaust, induction kit. etc. Handles nice but majorly underpowered! If you snap it sideways there is a serious lack of power to maintain the sideways motion with any control. Always felt you had to drive it at ten tenths to extract fun from it,
Rwd is fun if it has some power to play with! Nothing like hanging the rear out a couple feet exiting a corner...
That's why I haven't bothered buying one... I'll have to be trotting 300+bhp thru the rear wheels if I bought something rwd. Pre turbo m3 or maybe a skyline or the like... Infact, if I had the cash a 1m coupe looks a good buy!

I can't agree more if you want to drift seriously you need a mega bhp boosted car. For me the mx5 is awsome handling car and theirs no way you could push Cupra like you would a 5. it's serious on rails with the right tyres.
Guys do drift 5s but they are boosted to the hills and set up right welded diffs ect.
