Well after the top mounts and bearings were changed for new OEM LCR ones, the swing arm rear bush was changed for Audi TT roadster ones, the front swing bush changed for the OEM LCR one, the ARB and bushes were changed for R32 23mm ones and the track rod ends are new OEM LCR ones I still have a rattle at low speeds on ruts etc. So have narrowed this down to the ball joints and the rear sub frame bushes. I was going to change these but time was running out.
So next project is change the ball joints, CV joints and the rear sub frame bushes.
If its not these I have newer strutts and springs to fit.

If all this doesn't cure it then feck knows, lol

AAHHH, never thought of that one TBH. The rattles have died down a but but you can feel i at the front wheels. Ball joints and CV joints have been bought anyway so these are getting fitted. Increase the learning curve too

there is a V shapped brackets on the exhausts the welds are pron to brake on the new beetle, MK4 golf and the leon.

this happened on my missus gti, i ripped the suspension out to sort it and still no joy. found out it was the exhaust, quick weld later all done.

Look good Pete but no good for the LCR as we have the studs coming from the ball joint down where these are for ones where the ball joints bolt onto these.
Theres adjustable top mount braces that give you -ve camber that i have my eye on from INA/034 motorsport

There are other ball joints listed on shhh you know what.

Ho ho I wish, Nah i saw them a while ago and have been waiting for excuse to show someone (sad I know) they are listed for front wheel drive TT and quattro and our front end is basicaly the same! Doubt you'd have to cut anything just plug n play by looks!
