All Terramar' appear to have this hole the dead centre of the Cupra logo part of the rear light strip - does anyone know what it is for? I wondered if it was to combat moisture build up?

Exactly the same on the Formentor, I checked 3 at the dealerships and all the same, also 1 in each end (see the small one to the right in your picture), I assumed they were from the production of the light (from the mold).

I really don't think its a hole it certainly doesn't let water in when I wash the car , definately would say it 's a moulding point in a rather noticeable position.

If it’s a hole then isn’t there a risk it might also let moisture in? I’d go with the untidy moulding point theory.

Or moisture out. Question is can you get a pin into it. Might be some weird calibration point for dead centre on lane assist or something or just the mould makers couldn't do it without that. You'd expect to find it on other Vag brand cars not just Cupra. Perhaps it's like the mouse that painter left in pictures to be found (Terence Tenison Cuneo). A case of find the moulding defect.
