Strange Humming Sound

When i open the drivers side front to get in, i hear a buzzing/humming sound for a second. Its very faint. What do you guys think it may be?

fuel pump, does it do it when you unlock it and get in?

Yep - mine does exactly the same. Not sure what it is - think it is just the car's way of saying hello. Don't worry cause i think most do that noise.

thank god for that.. i often wondered what that noise was.. bugged me for ages..

your right mate, the pump primes when you open the drivers door. it shouldnt do it on opening any others.
