I have done a 2 ltr conversion on a mates golf. Rods are exactly the same, as we used the original Pauter items, but crank is a 2ltr TFSi item with special pistons, je i think with have gudgeon pin further up.

Makes good power on very low boost with 336 BHP @ 0.9 BAR. Its on a JBS IHI kit with IHI hot side and Garrett GT30 coldside iirc.

Yeah unless you already have the rods which are normal 144mm. then you just need the crank and pistons.

I think Bill supplied the pistons in this case.

I have got both already, but am sure i could easily sell them as theyre brand new. Will wait and see what the company email me back.

You have any problems fitting the crank, or was it pretty straight forward?

check clearance to oil squirters when building.. some clearancing is often required to avoid collision.

Yeah Bill is bang on there, We had issues, but easily sorted. Piston skirts come down further so touch the oil squirters, you need to space them down.

The pistons must have the correct compression height for the rods and crank you are using. Since nobody makes a ~141mm c-c rod, that pretty much means changing the pistons.

The crank to use is the plain FSi crankshaft, you must pull off the sprocket and replace it with one from a 1.8t / 2L mk4 crankshaft. The FSi has a finer pitch on the oil pump chain.

We stock the 2L stroker pistons at $629.99, we also stock 2.1L JE's for 95.5mm stroke.

Ive come across this website

And am wondering if i can use that crank with my current setup

My setup is 82.5mm JE Pistons 8.75:1 with 144mm Forged Con-Rods with ARP bolts

Or would i need to change pistons?

Cheers Mark
Mark not with your current set up.You will need to change everything but the rods.
Check out our stroker set up...I can set you up with a kit without the rods.Just shoot me an email or PM.
