Stylance - are 17" alloys part of the sports pack?

Went to Arnold Clark in Edinburgh today and saw a black Leon Stylance in the showroom with seats that where red/black. I asked the saleman if they where standard he said no they are part of the sports pack. However the car had standard 16" alloys so I said it does not have 17" alloys are they not part of the sport pack. He said no they are a seperate option. So I'm a bit confused as I thought the 17" alloys where part of sport park. I really liked the seats in this car but wondered if they are standard seats and not sports ones or has the sports pack changed. Also on SEAT website if you go to their configurator there is no sports pack now even thought there used to be.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

David

I'm certain it was a Stylance as it had climate control unless referance sport has that too. Alloys where 16" 'Perseo' alloy wheels. Infomation panel next to the car said it was a stylance. I should have taken pictures.

It also had steering whel controls and the seats where not sports shaped. Also had rear electric window if that helps.

If I remember right from when I was buying a Stylance back in January the 17" wheels were not included in the sports pack, they were still an option that you added as well as the sports pack. I didn't go for either when I got mine so can't be 100% but I think that's how it is.

use the seat.co.uk website to spec the leon, my stylance 08 model with sport pack > sport pack = 17" alloys, sports suspen, and bucket seats. well they better give me the 17s...still waiting for mine in cardiff "edit" should be the 17" 'Aquila' alloy wheels i think. but with the new leon stylance they won't have the sports pack with 09 models they will have either stylance or just sport for Tsi.

Yep, the current Sports Pack does include the wheels. I opted to just have the wheels, not as good value at £350 but I didn't want the bumpy suspension or the seats as I was ordering the leather.

I have heard bad things that the SP equipped Stylances / Sports are horrendously bumpy, worse than an FR even, and I found my old FR too choppy.

Makes the handling a bit sharper, it's true, and the standard ride is hardly soft, but for me I had had enough of it.

Has the stylance cloth changed for the 2009 model year? I went back to look at the car again and it was definitely a stylance with 16" alloys and this type of cloth. The side bolsters were black or very dark grey and the centre panel had this pattern on it (black with red fleck). See picture below.
