hi guys.
after ages of finding a way to increase the power of a ibiza 1.4 mpi cool im afraid you are correct so i give up trying to make power.
Instead ive purchased some french **** pug 306 1.9 d turbo as a sort of cheap track car for bombing it around. if anyone wants to hear thespec list ill be more then happy to post it for you but a majority of you prob wont so i wont waste your eyes haha!

anyway im now wanting to style my ibiza just in a subtle smart way. so far ive had cupra headlights, custom eyebrows, painted the bumper strips colourcoded as the same with the baxck plastic part of the bumper, door handles and the bottom part of the bumper and tinted the rear headlamps black and poweder coated some 16" fox multispokes. i welded myself a 3.5" piper backbox with a rolled out tip onto with some welding skiills of mine just on a standard cat and silencer :). i like it as its diffrent from every other ibiza and ive also fitted a mg zr heat shield around thehole ive cut for the tip. i plan now to cut the front splitter slats and colour code and also fit a saxo vtr spoiler ontop of the current standard one. and i want some coil overs to bring it to just sat inside the arches. my 2 reartyres also need replacing so i was planning on going from the current 195/45 on the rear to 215/45 for some extra grip on prehaps pirellis?

i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what else i could do with it. i plan on tarting up the bay as well

many thanks for reading
corey

im my opinion i would bother with most the stuff, seems a lil ott, i personally think less is more nowadays, the mk3 look great with subtle mods and a great set a wheels. But thats me.

i dont intend to chav it up. however i defo do the like the spoiler
i dont believe it is much more as im only just colourcoding parts etc

will get pics asap guys :)

also as a added extra for tarting up the engine bay is there any form of external air filter you can buy as i would like to braid the hoses and paint the bay white and green! example chrome the heat shield, chrome braid the pipes, powder coat the rocker cover white, paint the head green and paint the gearbox white as well.

imo lose the zr heat shield, dont even think of the spoiler. As for an external air filter what the devil do you mean? are you going to hand it out the window or something?

OEM+ is the only way to go with these cars, but at the end of the day it's your car and you shouldn't let any of us stop you from doing what you want.

As long as you like it, thats all that matters!

haha lmao yeah that was a plan. i mean external air filter, open air filter, cone whatever to be honest. what decent makes can you get for these cars? i want a air filter filter so i can remove the box so i can tart up the head. the gearbox is currently painted gloss white as ive removed it for the clutch

as for the heatshield its stopping me getting burn marks all over my freshly painted bumper so its staying and ill see the spoiler situation when i finally get it on

You can fit any filter you want if you run the right pipework. Green supply one but it sits ontop so wouldnt fit in with your plans. May as well just look at doing the pipework yourself and buying any filter you want.

or just not bothering in the first place. ?

all these mods will devalue the car so much, you will have to pay some one to take it away!

i honestly dont understand this guy, he contradicts himself far too much and it seems like a fair bit of BS is coming here.

I am still awaiting photo's of shitthebiz's 'modified' car.... or a car even to prove he can drive.

and a saxo spoiler on an ibiza
