Sub enclosures...

A) where Croakey can get one...

B) where Croakey can get someone to make one...

Yes so long as they are small (I can't loose more than a couple of inches really or I won't get my bow in) and fit round the storage shelf.

Maybe something for an 8" unit using the space over the wheel well on the left.

It's probably tat and grossly overpriced, but SEAT used to do a Sony Xplod one on their accessories list - no idea if they still do or not...

a sub well enclosure would be perfect for me but it would have to fit totally inside so i could put the carpet back down!! A 10inch one for me would be fine but would want it to be a compact unit to one side

I replaced an Infinity 12" with a JL 8" and the response of the 8" is fantastic:

It was the old one of them. I'm thinking of trying a pair of there 6" subs for a really small setup.

8" are good for banging dancy tunes. but dont handle so well for the bassy RnB kind of music. Thats what I have found in the past. 10 and 12" seem to be good all-rounders IMO.

Are you after something that sits in the well by the wheel arch or something that just sits in the boot?
I bought one of these:

for my Fiesta a few years ago and it was really good. It's about a foot cubed with a built in amp (so doesn't take up much space), an 8" driver and then another 8" passive driver for added clout. If you really want to rattle the windows this won't really do it, but just for improving overall sound and adding some punch, I would recommend it. It certainly goes loud enough to make your ears hurt. Oh, and it's only 130 notes.
