sub thread!?

anyone have an easy way to wire a wiring kit mainly the power wire through bulk head!? did a search couldnt find what i needed

On the passenger side of the car there is a fairly large plastic/rubber grommit, it is just above the chassis leg and if you look under the dash you should see it.

I cut a whole in that and ran the power-wire through it and down the passenger side of the car into the boot.

Have you found a sub/amp yet pete?

i took the gromet out completely on mine when i had the massive sub in the boot. the carpet and soundproofing covered the hole back up on the inside but i think it did cause a water leak.

I paid 20 for 2 10" subs, then built the box myself. Got a used 2 channel amp and wired it up. Enough bass to do me.

And as above, wired through that gromet behind the glove box

yeah subs in now! problem is i touched the live off the headunit and accidentally grounded it! number 16 fuse went JOY no panel and no thump thump!!!!!!! will rate when replaced

subs in, fuse sorted, hearing gone ITS SO LOUD! cant hear my wheel bearing anymore so i have no more problems on the car

sounds awesome, ive got a SPLX sub. AMP and sony stereo up for grabs. Taken from my MK2 ibiza, i decided to uprate the speakers as i needed the boot space for me tools and stuff.
