Sunglasses holder and general accessory query

Hi all,

I was thinking about where to store my sunglasses (not that I need them much) and did a search and there was one thread about how someone had installed a Golf sunglasses holder in their Car. Has anyone else also done this as it sounds like a good idea to me?

Also where is the best place that people have found for accessory's? Is there any place that people can get a discount from or is significantly cheaper?

I looked into this a while ago as well. I went down the local VW dealer to order one (incidently about the same price). However there was a note on the parts system saying not suitble for vehicles with side airbags.

I didn't get one in the end as didn't want to risk the airbag not working properly.

My last daily drive was an Elise - so the Cupra has more storage than I can get my head round - I mean who needs 3 cupholders

My 'sunnies' live in the oblong slot in front of the gearstick.

I put one in my 56 plate FR from an Altea. Same colour trim and as mine had a grab handel it screwed into the same place. I guess its the same type as the one found in the Golf Got mine from Listers Covernty for about £12.00 I think.
